SFP+ Transceivers
The SFP+ transceiver is the enhanced version of the SFP which supports data rates up to 16 Gigabits per seconds. The core specifications of the SFP+ are based on SFF-8431. A wide range of applications now use SFP+ modules which usually support 8 Gigabit per seconds fibre channel, 10 Gigabit Ethernet & Optical Transport Network Standard OTU2.
